Puerto Rican Magic Mushroom

Puerto Rican Magic Mushrooms (Psilocybe Cubensis Puerto Rico) are found on the island of Puerto Rico. These mushrooms grow naturally in the warm, humid tropical climate and are a fast colonizing strain produces stipes that are thick in comparison to the pileus, which is usually bell shaped and flattens later into maturity than most other cubensis species.

With moderate sporulation and average potency, this strain is noted to produce effects such as mental clarity, bodily stimulation, and feelings of euphoria. The Puerto Rican is known for it’s VERY potent effects and extremely rizomorphic mycellium. A fast and aggressive colonizer that produces medium to large fruits. Colonization temperatures 84/86 degrees F. Fruiting temperatures 74/78 degrees F. is optimal.

As the name suggests, this cubensis are found primarily in Puerto Rico but have made their way into cultivation. Due to close relation to other Central American species, these mushrooms are nearly indistinguishable from other cubensis species, save for dark stripes on the stems that form as they grow upward. They have thick stocks and do not grow as tall as other species, but are prolific fruiterers all the same.

They are equal in ease and speed of cultivation to other cubensis, making them ideal for commercial cultivation. Effects of this mushroom range from moderate to high in relation to dose and individual tolerances. As they are cubensis, they have an average psilocybin content of 0.63% per 1 gram of dried weight.
